                        Since August, Backyard Fitness and Young Guns Running Group have teamed up to offer a fitness/running group for all levels.  Our goal is to promote fitness, friendship, and fundraise for the Beyond Batten Disease Foundation.  

                        We hope you can join us in our family friend pizza and pasta party!  We are asking for a $10 donation to the Beyond Batten Disease Foundation here: www.younggunsrun.com/marathon-training.html

                        Welcome to the Young Guns Running Group website!  Here you will find information on one of Austin's best youth fitness groups. 

                        Young Guns Running Group was started in the spring of 2009 to teach a love of running as well as the proper form and technique in order to be life long runners.

                        Workouts:
                        Young Gun's focus is on improving running endurance and overall fitness, develop "functional" strength, flexibility, and improve core strength and body alignment. Further, runners will likely see improvements in self-image, confidence, attitude, social-interpersonal-relationship-skills, as well as ability to focus on tasks and school-work. (These benefits of exercise are well-known in adults, and they also apply and are especially important for youth.) 

                        The main goal of Young Guns Running Group is to have fun and enjoy being outdoors with others while being active!
