Before every long run, I usually like to wake up 2 hours before the event and start off with a good breakfast.  Aside from a glass of water, I eat a banana and an English Muffin with peanut butter and honey on it.  I don't like to drink more then a glass of water because lines at the starting line for portapotties are always crazy.  It's also good not to drink coffee or any dairy products the morning of a race.

I'm still trying to decide what to eat for my post race meal.  Last year, I ate a Might Fine hamburger, and it was might fine!  I'll see how I feel tomorrow when it's all said and done!
